HI, I'M TIFFANY.

I'm a Taipei-based writer, currently telling stories about international politics and human rights at TaiwanPlus News. My mission is to write human-interest stories that reveal the diversity of people all around the world.

 

I recently finished my Fulbright grant at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan studying the Asian diaspora. Before that, I was a news assistant at The New York Times, collecting data for our Pulitzer Prize-winning coronavirus trackers. I've also contributed to "The Pandemic's Toll," a memorial to California victims of the coronavirus at the Los Angeles Times, and written for Character Media, the longest-running Asian American print magazine.

As a Chinese American journalist dedicated to reporting on politics and culture in the U.S. and abroad, I seek to further diversity, equity and inclusion efforts by sharing perspectives on history and identity through data-based stories.
